UEFA EURO 2024 having been chosen to stage the 17th edition of the UEFA European Championship at a UEFA Executive Committee
meeting in Nyon on 27 September 2018. Türkiye was the only other nation that bid to hold UEFA EURO 2024. West Germany hosted the 1988 edition,
but this will be the first time Germany has staged the UEFA European Championship since reunification. The ten venues selected for the venue include the nine stadiums used in the 2006 World Cup, as well as the Düsseldorf Arena.

UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying result
UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying A total of 53 UEFA member associations entered the qualifying process. The draw for the qualifying group stage took place at the Festhalle in Frankfurt on 9 October 2022.
The European Qualifiers for UEFA EURO 2024 ran from March to November 2023.

The UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament is a football competition that is being played from March 2023 to March 2024 to determine the 23
UEFA member men’s national teams that will join the automatically qualified host team Germany in the UEFA Euro 2024 final tournament.
The competition is linked with the 2022–23 UEFA Nations League, which gives countries a secondary route to qualify for the final tournament.
EURO 2024 play-offs on 22 march
Twelve teams have earned play-off spots based on their performances in the 2022/23 UEFA Nations League. Nominally, that is the group winners of Leagues A, B and C, but if they have already qualified they are replaced by the next best-ranked team in their league.
The play-offs of the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament will decide the last three teams that will qualify for the UEFA Euro 2024 final tournament in Germany.
Euro 2024 schedule
Germany will play the first game of the tournament in Munich on June 14 , with their opponent to be confirmed upon the result of the group stage draw. The tournament will be held in 10 stadiums across Germany.
The expanded format for the last two editions of the European Championships, 24 teams will qualify for EURO 2024 and be split in to six groups of four teams in each.
The UEFA EURO 2024 final tournament is scheduled to take place from 14 June to 14 July 2024.As the host nation, Germany are seeded in Group A and will occupy position A1; they will therefore play in the opening match at the Munich Football Arena on Friday 14 June.
The top two teams from each group qualify automatically for the last 16, while the four teams who finish in third and have the best record will also reach the last 16.
